Manoj Bajpayee, Indian actor, born on April 23, 1969, in Narkatiaganj, Bihar, India.  Manoj started his career on a television serial, “Swaabhimaan”, and made his film debut in a bit part in ‘Drohkaal’ and ‘Bandit Queen’ (1994). In 1998, he got a big break and won a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor and National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in the crime drama ‘Satya’. Other roles that Manoj has won acclaim for include: ‘Shool’ (1999), ‘Aks’ (2001), ‘Pinjar’ (2003) winning a Special Jury National Award, ‘Veer Zaara’ (2004), ‘Raajneeti’ (2010), ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (2012), and ‘Special 26’ (2013). In 2016, Manoj portrayed a homosexual professor working in a Muslim college in ‘Aligarh’. He won a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his compassionate and touching performance. Manoj’s most successful film in recent times was ‘Baaghi 2’, with Tiger Shroff in 2018.  He was last seen in ‘Sonchiriya’, about dacoits set in 1975, and the Amazon Prime web series ‘The Family Man’, an average middle-class man who is actually a spy.
