Happy Birthday to the lovely Rani Mukherji Chopra, one of Bollywood’s most popular and talented actresses, born on March 21, 1978, in Mumbai. Rani is part of a filmy family that includes cousins Kajol and Ayan Mukerji, screenwriter, and director. When she was eighteen, Rani had a supporting part in her film director father’s Bengali film ‘Biyer Phool’ (1996). In her next film, ’Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ (1997), she received praise for her role as a rape victim. In 1998, Rani had a breakthrough year with ‘Ghulam’, co-starring Aamir Khan, and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. She won her first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in KKHH. Rani was a leading actress throughout the 2000s, known for her versatile choice of films, her dancing, her beauty, and her deep, throaty voice.
